Completed Projects - Matui Honey - 2500kg Flat Deck Trailer

We were engaged by Matui Honey to design and build a custom flat deck trailer for the transportation of their beehives. This trailer was built as a 2500kg rated trailer with the scope to upgrade to 3500kg at a later stage when the client has upgraded there tow vehicle.

100x50x3mm chassis one piece from drawbar right through to rear of trailer
265/70/16 4wd wheels & tyres
Front mounted large storage box
All Narva multivolt led lighting - front and side marker lights, side direction indicators, large rear lights with reverse light option
Under deck lighting for night loading (red lighting so not to disturb bees)
Heavy duty tie rails
18mm Transtex 220 ply deck
Rear heavy duty tow points
Non slip deck steps

This trailer was specifically designed to operate in the honey industry for the transportation of hives.
